I haven't been around for a while, but I've decided to come back. I will defeat the tiger. Have a sexy, red redneckmobile. Sorry if I haven't replied to some old comments yet (or if you have been excessively heartbroken or lost in my absence).
Sure, there is Miami Vice music to match. (Texas Ranger)

Glad to be back.

You don't have to be a redneck to enjoy an F body

Internet stereotypes beg to differ! I'm really not serious in calling it a redneckmobile—it's more in jest than anything.

I almost bought a '87 IROC Z/28 Special edition.

Man, a decent IROC (without silly tires, chrome wheels, or wall paint) is a rare and awesome car. The '87 (I think) was available with the L98/4AT or 305/5MT. I'd love to get my hands on something like that, but there is not a single decent Camaro in the entire DC-area.

It was a auto that looked like this, it was that time the salesman said fifteen-hundred but the car was actually $15,000

Damn, that would have been incredible for $1,500. The '87 IROCs were pretty fast cars, new trans and 'Vette engine and all. I do like gold/burgundy wheel/paint combos for sure.

It was pristine, too. Incredible for $1,500, CP for $15,000

Definitely. Should be priced between those two numbers, especially when you think about how you can get a nice 6 speed N/A Supra that cost $40,000 new for that money. Turbos are another story, but I'll stick with that as my example. Your typical Camaro buyer could have a perfect 4.2 gen SS 6MT LS1 or LT1 6MT C4 for that money.

Welcome back! A 3rd Gen is always welcome.
I've always liked this one (it works if you hit expand),

I love you.

But we do have Trans Ams around here, and those are almost as good (in all reality, they are actually probably better).

L98 in the F-bodies was de-tuned versus the L98 in the Corvette, only making some 225 HP/330 lb. ft. against the Corvette's 240 HP/345 lb. ft. :(

True. I wonder how much modification it would take to get those 350s to make at least 50 HP/L.

Thanks! That Camaro is genuinely fapworthy. Why can't they all be modified so tastefully?

Deep down in your heart... still?

Idk but I think they make one of the best first cars someone can have.
